… and their entourage paid an official visit to RECOGIN on 15th September 2010 as part of their familiarization tour of Amsterdam South East District after the “Dance with the Kings Festival 2010 in Holland”.
The Kings and Queen Mothers met the Chairman, Mr. Charles Vanderpuye, RECOGIN Staff and other Ghanaian Community Leaders. Mr. Ofori, the RECOGIN Office Manager, welcomed the entourage and introduced the Chairman of RECOGIN to the Kings and Queens after which the Chairman gave his welcome address.
Mr. Vanderpuye, in his welcome address, briefed them about what RECOGIN stands for and the various activities RECOGIN has undertaken over the past years to uplift the image of the Ghanaian Community in general in the Netherlands.
Hon. Kpan-Naa Muhammed Baba Bawah, a member of Council of State of the Repulic of Ghana, commended RECOGIN and the Ghanaians in the Netherlands for their good name and being hard working. He pledged to assist Ghanaians in the diaspora who would like to embark on investment projects in the Northern Region of Ghana.
