At the RECOGIN secretariat, computer equipped room has been completed with 12 PCs to offer classes for various levels of Computer Literacy. It is also an offer to the Ghanaian community to come and use the IT facility for their own use without a fee. Fully charged courses by selected teachers would be started in 2010 from February. A special program is the “Computer for Parents and Child” when parents together with their offspring’s come to train in the use of computers and IT. The reason behind this is the fact that many Ghanaian adults who attended the inburgeringcourses were given free computers but through their children they would be in the world of computers and IT at home – each supporting the other to make it more relevant at home.
